AMA Students Lend a Hand to the Assistance League of El Paso

May 13, 2011

AMAAs part of their commitment to community service, students from the UTEP chapter of the American Marketing Association have been helping the Just a Second Thrift and Gift Store revamp its image and improve sales. They designed a new logo and merchandise signs as they worked to improve the look of the store.

"We appreciate the enthusiasm with which the AMA members accepted our invitation to help us in improving the marketing of the thrift store. The proposals they presented to Assistance League of El Paso's members were truly impressive and professional," said Berta Morales, Chairman of the Just a Second Thrift store.

The AMA is the largest professional organization serving the needs and interests of marketing practitioners, students, and faculty.
