management organization targeted for the information processing professional. In
fact, the AITP is the largest organization representing information management
professionals in the world.
AMA
The American Marketing Association (AMA) is the worlds largest and most comprehensive professional society of marketers, consisting of
more than 45,000 worldwide members in 92 countries and 500 chapters throughout North America. The AMA is the only organization that
provides direct benefits to marketing professionals in both business and education and serves all levels of marketing practitioners,
educators and students.
DSP
Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship,
social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation
between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic
and commercial welfare of the community.
SHRM
The Society for Human Resource Management is the leading voice of the human resource profession consisting of over 110,000 professionals and 70,000 student
members. SHRM provides its members with education and information services, conferences and seminars, government and media representation
and publications that equip human resource professionals for their role as leaders and strategic partners within the organization. UTEP
SHRM offers internship opportunities, networking opportunities with the El Paso Society for Human Resource Management, guest speakers,
and tours, in order for members to meet the challenges of working in this ever changing environment.
