Inaugural International MBA Cohort Launches

Students touring downtown El Paso On August 18, 2010, the College of Business Administration welcomed 20 bright and motivated students into our inaugural International MBA Program. These bilingual students are from the USA, Mexico, Canada, China, India and Taiwan. During the orientation, the students participated in a career and personal development workshop which included resume writing, elevator pitch and dressing for success sessions. The students also participated in an organized scavenger hunt in Downtown El Paso and braved the high rope course at the Health and Fitness Center.


On the rope course
These students attend classes on a fulltime basis during the day at the UTEP Graduate Business Center. They will undertake 4 courses per semester and are expected to complete their MBA in 4 semesters. In addition, the students will learn Business Spanish and Mandarin in a later semester. They are also expected to receive an internship during the summer.
