International Marketing Strategy, Cross-Cultural Consumer Behavior
Dr. John Hadjimarcou is Professor of Marketing and Chairman of the Department of Marketing and Management. He has been twice recognized as "Outstanding Teacher” in Marketing and Management. In 2010, John received UTEP’s “Faculty Achievement Award for Teaching,” the University’s highest teaching honor. Additionally, he served as a Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning Fellow twice over the last 10 years. As an IMPACT Fellow, he coordinated the University-wide faculty development seminar for two years. John received multiple “College Outstanding Research Article” and “Department Best Paper” awards. His main research interests are in international marketing strategy and cross-cultural consumer behavior. Several of his papers appeared or are forthcoming in mainstream marketing and international business journals including the Journal of International Marketing, International Marketing Review, International Business Review, Psychology & Marketing, Business Horizons, and Journal of Management Studies. Dr. Hadjimarcou received “Best Paper” awards at national academic conferences such as the Academy of Marketing Science and the Society for Marketing Advances. He currently serves on the editorial board of Psychology & Marketing.
